There was a horse buggy causing the two lane road traffic in Nelsonville, Ohio. I thought somebody was filming an independent movie, but the buggy driver was real Amish. Although I couldn't take picture of him and his buggy, this photo in a similar way explains the situation I was in.
Please explain to me, Who are the Amish?
Amish is a group of Christian church fellowships that form a subgroup of the Mennonite churches. The Amish are known for simple living, plain dress, and reluctance to adopt many conveniences of modern technology. (1) Amish live in rural areas, refuse to use electricity and other modern things, and dress very plainly. They are, perhaps, the most visible of all religious "dissenters" in USA. They don't vote and they don't enlist in the military, but they do pay taxes.(2) According to USATODAY, Ohio is in the top three high Amish population region in USA. Pennsylvania is ranked number one high Amish population, 59,350; Ohio is second place, 58,590 and Indiana is 43,710 with bronze medal.(3)
Total Amish population in USA is growing.

Also, Amish population has grown 5% over the past year. I guess some Americans tired of modern life decide to become the Amish, or the Amish just love to have babies.
Edited Amish Video Clip for the first time in my life!

I interviewed three students at Ohio University, and they said... If you are curious, click the video. At Google+, I begged people to leave a comment about the video, but no one has done it. It proves that I don't belong to this modern-techonologically advanced society. Do the Amish accept an Asian boy as a part of the community?
